Size 7.5 silver (925) w/a lab created oval ruby & 12 diamonds-tested/ring

Ring is marked “925” (silver) and “P (with a star symbol) M”. Ruby is a halo style, oval, lab created and set in a cushion shaped ruby frame surrounded by 12 brilliant cut diamonds. After DAYS of researching and bringing it to my jeweler, the only “possible” meaning for “P (star) M” is a guess from my jeweler who has ever seen the star between the P and M. He stated the “P” stands for “Plumb” (solid) silver and “M” stands for Milor (Italy) meaning Italian silver. He asked some other jewelers about the “star” symbol and was told (their guess) is that it could mean the carats of the stone(s). This has a 5-pointed star (they have also seen 4 and 6-pointed stars). That would match with the carat of the ruby. The ruby is lab created and valued at about $30 per carat. The diamonds are real. The diamonds are 0.86tcw and are also lab grown with a clarity rating of VS2+.
