Antique early 1900's porcelain head doll for Franz Schmidt & Co., marked F.S. & Co. 1310, Simon & Halbig, Made in Germany, 10" long, Bisque socket head with open mouth, two teeth on top, tongue, pierced nostrils, blue impish/sleepy eyes, painted eyelashes below, feathered brows and wispy blonde mohair wig with front bangs - original composition toddler body.
Please refer to photos as they show the doll in detail. She has a mark on right lower cheek which may come off - have not tried. She is dressed in an antique fine linen/cotton gown with underskirt trimmed in a sweet pink embroidery accent with delicate lace around neckline and bottom of sleeves. Gown has a tiny button closure at back of neck. Underskirt is pinned at back neck. Her beautiful crocheted bonnet has the soft wispy blonde hair attached and is trimmed with silk ribbon sachets at each side.
Composition body is in wonderful shape with some paint wear off on hands and arms (maybe some other areas).
