Vintage Handmade Orange Battenburg Lace Open Front Closure 3/4 Sleeve bobbin lace long coat jacket dates from 1940 in a Victorian style. It is made of a hand made orange Battenburg bobbin lace created with woven cloth stitch tapes, bobbin made connecting double brides, heavy cordonnet outlines, with decorative spiral, floral and leaf scroll work designs. Lovely orange satin lines the inside neck. (Tag on it is vintage shop inventory tag). R9

This gorgeous lace coat jacket is a long length, with an open front, and a hook eye closure at the neck and a cute little orange double bow detail, long full flared minimal bell shaped sleeves, scalloped edge trim and is sheer completely unlined. The coat measures 40” inches long, with pit to pit measurement of 21.5” which would make this a M/L fit. It is in excellent condition for its age and beautifully made. No stains, rips or tears.
