This counterpart to “Apple Tree Boy” (below) was modeled in 1940 by Arthur Moeller and has often been redesigned. There are very many size variations and older figures are characterized by a brown base. In the small models no bird sits on the tree. It is a very well-known figurine that has also been used for annual plates, lamps or bookends.
