Made in 1958 and designer signed by Monet, this very impressive satin gold medallion style fringe necklace is without a doubt one of the most spectacular necklaces ever made by Monet.
It is a very uncommon design and not many like this were made. The ribbon style swags are ornately textured, finished in antiqued satin gold metal. The ribbons alternate in texture and length. One ribbon has finely etched lines, the next ribbon has a nugget texture.
The necklace measures 21" long x 1 3/8" wide, or 52 cm x 3.2 cm. The gold snake chain has a bolo style clasp w/ gold nugget beads.
The necklace is in fabulous pristine clean condition. There is no gold wear or loss of gold front or back or on the chain. The necklace is signed Monet in three places; on both clasps and on the Bolo.
