Impossibly rare nonfiction book about the acclaimed author’s wife and home life in the early-mid 1900s. A very special treat and an inside look into the life of the beloved author of The Chronicles of Prydain (The Black Cauldron. etc.), The Kestrel, Time Cat, Westmark, Vesper Holly, and many other works of fantasy / literature for children and adults alike.

Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and wear around the edges - including chipping, creases and small tears. Jacket has grown quite brittle around the edges. Boards are straight and largely clean save for fading to spine and bumped/worn corners. Binding is firm and spine is straight. Some foxing to pages, especially near beginning and end of book, with small stained areas to outer edges of text block. No writing inside or out. See photos for condition.
