Carnelian shell carved left facing female cameo 10k etched frame large vintage brooch. Lovely antique carved shell brooch. This unique piece features a demure left facing woman with a Roman toga and a band in her hair. Cameos that are left facing are carved by an artist that was left handed making them more rare to find as they traditionally face the opposite direction. Cameo is in good vintage condition with small signs of normal vintage wear. Condition is as is please look at pictures.
Acid tests positive for 10k gold.
Brooch weighs 9.4 grams.
