Vintage Sheepskin Shearling Leather Coat by JJ Canada Size 40 Rancher Coat Tan Four Bone Buttons
This coat is from our large collection of vintage coats and jackets.
Wonderful brown and beige rectangle label: JJ Fabrique Au Canada 40
Fantastic construction using 17 hand sewn pieces of sheepskin shearling.
Size: 40
Length: 34"
Chest: 40"
Shoulders: 19"
Sleeve: 24" with a 5" cuff and 2" of shearling at the wrist
Four 3" incredible bone buttons with leather loops for front closure
The wing tip collar at the widest point is 6"
Two front pockets 8" x 7"
The right front side show some "puckering" in the leather. Also some on the right sleeve. There is a small tear in the lower left bottom of the coat that could be easily repaired.
We have not tried to condition the leather. This coat is from the late 1970's and was much loved.
Very heavy approx. 5 lbs. and super warm.
