Very interesting and rare handwritten pages with many poems and illustrations. Some of the titles are “The sorrows of Rosalie” by Caroline Norton (1829), “My mothers grave” by WH Harrison Esq., “ To my dear Mary Anne” by Lord Byron, “Lines “ by Rev Dr Booker (1829) and many more. Must be at least 20 or more, too many to list them all. Great illustrations including original drawings, and etchings. The only name listed in the album is J B Taylor 1859 on the drawing of Mount Carmel, and other drawings. The album cover is leather, pages are gilded. The album measures approximately 7” by 4 1/2”. The album does have some condition issues with spine separation from some of the pages. Beautiful handwriting that is nice and crisp. Very unusual Victorian book. All sales final, AS IS. NO RETURNS. Please ask any questions before bidding. The poetry is beautiful and a lost art. The poem “Lines “ is very touching and typical of the era. Not sure of the origin of country
