This is an adorable authentic signed Marcel Boucher vintage elf pin / brooch from the 1950s. The piece has been well taken care of over the years. Very well made. Great detail in textured and polished gold toned metal.
The elf is playing a favorite French game of "boules" as he holds a small pearl ball. His eyes are adorned with 2 small dark beads. He has a beard and pointed ears. Wears a big smile, pointed hat, sweater, and slipper shoes.
In excellent vintage condition.
HISTORY:
"Born in Paris, Marcel Boucher worked as a jewelry designer for Cartier and created costume jewelry from the 1930s until the early 60s."
