The AKG 3296H00050 is an antenna power splitter with an integrated power supply that gives you a straightforward way to route both RF signal and 10 V DC power from a single pair of antennas to as many as four wireless microphone receivers. By unifying signal distribution and power in one half-rack unit, it keeps your rig tidy and helps every channel enjoy the same clean, consistent coverage.
Operating across 470 – 952 MHz, the splitter fits smoothly into most UHF systems used in live sound, broadcast, and installed AV. A front-panel control lets you adjust RF attenuation from 0 to 14 dB, so you can match long or short cable runs without overloading your receivers and without compromising signal strength.
The housing is made of metal and follows a half-rack format that slides easily into portable fly racks or permanent studio furniture. Ten clearly labeled BNC connectors support four receiver outputs, dedicated cascade outputs, and the two antenna inputs. When your channel count grows, you can cascade up to three additional splitters to feed as many as sixteen receivers while still using the same antenna pair.
Compatibility is broad. The unit works with both active and passive AKG antennas, passing 10 V DC through the inputs when active paddles are in use. AKG includes a rackmount kit, antenna cables, and BNC cables, so setup is quick whether you are equipping a touring rack or refreshing a fixed installation.
Live sound engineers, broadcast technicians, conference center operators, and houses of worship all benefit from the reliability and space savings this splitter delivers. By reducing cable clutter and simplifying gain staging, it shortens troubleshooting time and allows you to focus on the performance instead of RF logistics.
