The Black Box FOLZH10-002M-LCLC-VT is a 6.5 foot multimode OM3 fiber optic patch cable that carries high-speed data through LC connectors at both ends. Its 50 micron laser-optimized core, paired with 125 micron cladding, delivers the bandwidth needed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and other demanding protocols over distances up to 300 meters when used within an OM3-rated link.

A Low Smoke Zero Halogen jacket keeps people and equipment safer in the event of fire by emitting very little smoke and no corrosive halogens. That makes the cable a practical choice for aircraft cabins, marine vessels, tunnels, and construction sites where confined spaces increase the risk posed by toxic fumes.

Network teams can use this patch lead to connect switches, servers, storage arrays, or patch panels and fine-tune network segments without re-terminating fiber. Backward compatibility with legacy 50 micron systems means upgrades can happen gradually, reducing downtime and cost.

The distinctive purple jacket simplifies cable tracing in dense racks, while the 6.5 foot length reaches comfortably between adjacent equipment without leaving extra slack to manage.

Highlights:
  • 6.5 foot (2 meter) LC to LC multimode OM3 fiber optic cable
  • 50/125 micron laser-optimized core supports 10 Gbps over 300 meters
  • Low Smoke Zero Halogen jacket limits toxic and corrosive emissions
  • Purple jacket makes quick visual identification easy in crowded installations
  • Attenuation no greater than 2.3 dB per kilometer at 850 nanometers
  • Compatible with modern laser-based equipment and legacy multimode protocols
