The APC SRT192BP is an external battery pack made for Smart-UPS SRT units that supply 5 kVA or 6 kVA. Adding it to your UPS extends runtime so servers, storage arrays, network hardware, and other mission critical electronics keep working when mains power disappears.

Inside the cabinet is a 192 volt string that uses sealed lead acid technology, chosen for its proven stability in data center and industrial settings. Intelligent battery management measures temperature, voltage, and overall health at the cell, module, and cabinet levels and automatically fine tunes charging to help the batteries last longer.

Maintenance is simple. The batteries are hot swap capable, which means you can exchange them without taking the UPS or its protected load offline. The UPS instantly detects the new pack and updates the runtime estimate on its front panel and in any attached network management interface.

At 26.9 inches deep and roughly 200 pounds, the unit fits neatly into standard equipment racks or can stand in a tower configuration beside the UPS. This flexibility makes it a solid choice for dense data center aisles, branch offices, medical labs, or retail back rooms where space and uptime are both at a premium.
