The Shure A710-FM-4FT is a flush mount kit created for the four foot MXA710 microphone array. It lets you recess the microphone into a table, wall, or ceiling so the array sits level with the surface and the room maintains a look that is both tidy and integrated.
The metal frame accepts surfaces between 0.5 and 2.125 inches thick and needs only 3.62 inches of open space behind it. Cable knockouts along the sides provide clear routing paths, and the included cutting template shows the precise opening required. After installation you can paint the frame to match the surrounding material or add an acoustically transparent cloth, sold separately, to keep the microphone out of sight without affecting its sound.
