The Shure A900-CM is a ceiling mount kit designed for integrators who need a dependable method of installing MXA902, MXA910, and MXA920 ceiling array microphones. By letting the microphone sit flush to the ceiling, it preserves sightlines and keeps meeting spaces looking uncluttered, which is especially helpful in conference rooms, classrooms, or any fixed AV environment where a discreet appearance matters.

The kit arrives as two interlocking pieces. A ceiling plate anchors to drywall, plywood, concrete, or a standard four inch octagon junction box, while an adapter plate secures to the microphone itself. Once both plates are in place, they slide together and lock with the supplied M4 screws and Allen wrench, creating a solid connection that holds up to 15 pounds. This slide and lock approach makes both initial installation and future service straightforward, so technicians can get in and out quickly.

Because the mount supports both the square and round versions of the MXA920, as well as the MXA902 and MXA910, it allows facilities to standardize on one mounting solution across different rooms. All required hardware, including wood screws and anchors, comes in the box, reducing trips to the hardware store and helping projects stay on schedule.
