The Shure MX412D/C is a desktop gooseneck microphone designed for permanent installations where clear speech and tidy cable management matter. Its neck measures 12 inches and bends smoothly, letting you aim the cardioid condenser capsule without fuss so the speaker’s voice stays in focus while surrounding noise stays in the background.

The capsule is part of Shure’s Microflex interchangeable cartridge system. If a room requires a different pickup pattern later, you can swap cartridges instead of replacing the entire microphone, protecting your investment as needs change.

A balanced transformerless XLR output keeps hum and radio-frequency interference out of the signal, even when the cable run is long. That means a cleaner feed to mixers, DSPs, or conferencing codecs in courtrooms, council chambers, or houses of worship.

The locking flange secures the microphone to a lectern or table, and an internal shock mount cuts surface vibration by more than twenty decibels. Presenters can tap on the desk or shuffle papers without sending thumps through the sound system.
