The JBL CONTROL 30 is a three way loudspeaker that brings full range, high output sound to permanent installations indoors or outdoors. With a ten inch woofer, a dedicated five inch midrange driver and a one inch titanium tweeter, the cabinet delivers deep bass, clear vocals and detailed highs that stay balanced even when the system is pushed to live performance levels.

The 500 watt continuous power rating gives installers generous headroom for music and speech, while JBL SonicGuard circuitry protects the drivers from unexpected peaks. A transformer built into the cabinet accepts 70 volt or 100 volt lines with multiple tap settings, so the speaker integrates smoothly into distributed audio systems for campuses, hotels or theme parks.

Every part of the enclosure is engineered to survive harsh weather. The cabinet is molded from high impact material that resists rain, sun and salt spray, and a powder-coated steel grille shields the components inside. Because the speaker uses the patented InvisiBall mount, one person can aim it quickly then lock it in place without visible hardware. Optional U brackets and ceiling kits are available when an alternative mounting method better suits the space.

The wide 120 degree horizontal by 110 degree vertical coverage pattern spreads sound evenly across restaurant patios, sports courts, school auditoriums and house of worship foyers, reducing the number of cabinets required and simplifying wiring.
