Inside, an eight inch down-firing woofer works with two wOOx passive radiators to move plenty of air while staying precise from 25 to 150 hertz. The result is bass you can feel without muddying the midrange. If you prefer a traditional setup, an RCA input lets the sub slot into a wired receiver or powered speakers just as easily.

Fine-tuning is straightforward. Dedicated controls for gain, crossover, and phase sit on the back panel for on-the-spot tweaks, and the Philips Sound and PS Fine Tune mobile apps offer remote adjustments from the couch.
