The Jabra 8200-232 is a USB collaboration videobar that helps teams in small to medium meeting rooms look and sound as if they are in the same space. A trio of 13-megapixel cameras works together to deliver a seamless 180° panoramic image in 4K resolution, so people seated at each end of the table stay in frame without any stretching or distortion.
Voices are captured clearly by eight beamforming microphones that focus on the person speaking and reduce background distractions such as HVAC noise or keyboard clicks. Full-duplex processing lets conversations flow naturally, allowing participants to interrupt or speak at the same time without awkward dropouts. A built-in four-speaker array, made up of two woofers and two tweeters, fills the room with balanced sound that keeps remote voices easy to understand.
To make meetings more engaging, the Virtual Director feature analyzes the room in real time and automatically frames the active speaker or shifts the view when a different participant starts talking. When a whiteboard is part of the discussion, the integrated whiteboard streaming function shares content instantly with remote attendees, eliminating the need for a separate camera.
Setup is straightforward. Connect the videobar to a Windows or macOS computer through the included USB-C cable and launch Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or another UC application. The device is supplied with a wall mount, and optional table stand and VESA mounting accessories are available for rooms that require a different installation style.
Whether it is a huddle space in a startup, a classroom that supports hybrid learning, or a medium-sized conference room in an enterprise office, the Jabra PanaCast 50 helps everyone be seen, heard, and fully involved.
