It installs in an open SFP+ port on a compatible switch, router, or network interface card and pairs with an LC duplex patch cable that operates at an 850 nm wavelength.

The module is hot swappable, so you can insert or replace it without powering down equipment or interrupting traffic. Integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring reports temperature, voltage, and optical power in real time, giving administrators the data they need for preventive maintenance and quick troubleshooting.
