The LightStrike midsole means close-to-the-court cushioning which provides better agility. The upper has been redesigned with a recycled polymer and converted into mono-mesh for lightweight flexibility. The transparency of the mesh reveals the shoes` impressive midfoot support system. A TPU heel counter works in tandem with the upper and midsole to stabilize the heel and prevent slippage. The outsole incorporates Adiwear, a high-wear rubber compound that protects the toe from hard court starts and stops. The Defiant Speed 2 is a capable performance tennis shoe that uses the Ubersonic as an inspiration.
