Fantastic rug with high knots-per-square-inch (KPSI). Nice and floppy. Wool on a wool foundation. Great rug for a great price! A state department official purchased this rug in the Middle East sometime in the 1950s. It's similar to a Bokhara Turkoman Yamud rug I've seen on eBay. I'm not an expert, so no guarantees. 210 KPSI more or less. A few warp ends need to be retied; no big deal and easily done. There are a few missing knot heads. Otherwise excellent condition.
