These are delightful home decor made by a local craftsman in Jaipur , who puts on puppet shows for tourists almost every day! Now you can play with them using the strings attached , or just hang them up for people to admire. They certainly will spark a conversation! The lady doll is jointed at the waist and has a string on each hip so you can make her dance:)
The male puppet has some damage to the front ribbon on his dress, which was there when I got him. A little decoration from a craft store would look cute to cover that edge if you wish.
