Vintage Ceramic Gladiator Soldier Dresser Desk Caddy or Tobacco or Vanity Tray with curved swords and fleur-d-lis. A sticker on the base says Shields Fifth Avenue, with what might be an item number, and there is old green felt all around the base.
The tray is about 7 1/4 inches wide, 5 1/4 inches deep, and 5 3/4 inches tall. It is in very good vintage condition. Inside the helmet vase or pen or cigar holder are a few black marks. On the left rear corner is a very small spot of glaze wear. Otherwise no chips or cracks.
