This vintage pocket hanging letter postal scale comes with a leather case for easy transport and storage. The scales compact size is perfect for weighing letters and small parcels on the go during the late 19th to mid-20th century. Even has a small pouch for stamps. Excellent for collectors of antiques.
There is a Maker's Mark on the vertical bar near the pendulum, a stylized capital letter M with horizontal bar in the middle. It resembles other Made in Germany scales but has a plastic case, so it may be a Maul or derivative company of Maul which often used plastic cases. Do your own research.
