The artist, my wife, is a distinguished and multi-awarded Watercolor & Acrylic Fine Artist and Jewelry Designer - known for her VERY DETAILED work in fantasy and whimsical inspirations.
4 porcelain figures. “The somewhat pouty side-glancing little Merman Prince wasn't too happy, since his siblings--the twin Princesses were quite mischievous. He stands with his small trident firmly planted on the pale blue rocky sea floor standing watch--the Mer-dog by his side. A large red coral branch and blue sea brush form the background; the princesses are perched on a rocky formation I fashioned from air dry clay completed with pink and purple sea anemones. The rocky sea contains gems and real pearls.
The base is wood and resin-- with clay castings for trims. Protected by a glass cloche/dome that is sealed …dust free.
9 ½” height; 7 ¼” width; wood legs 1 ¾” tall; clear glass dome… signed/dated by the artist.
